About the Author

What does it mean to be a hot dog?

As a young man growing up in working class Leeds the hot dog became a vehicle to escape the shackles of my day to day existance (Im talking metaphorically of course).I always knew I was different and that I had a gift to share with the rest of the world I imagine there are many similarities between myself and Jesus during his formative years.

All my life I have had a passion for the world of hotdogs and ive been active in the field for the last 25 years. Please take me by the hand and join me in my literary odyssey of mechanically recovered meat in all its splendid forms.

  1. Hi,

I just want you to know that I find your behaviour morally reprehensible. I have reported this site to the ISOC – I suggest that you seek legal advice.

    Mr Roys.

    • Dear Mr Roys

Thank you for your comments about the hotdogreview.

Here at the ISOC (International Sausage or Corndogs) we believe the work being carried out here at the hotdogreview is up to the highest standards.

We agree that sometimes the author comes across as elitist or ostentatious but we believe that the passion for the simple ‘dog’ will transcend class and caste to bring hotdogs to the world.

      Yours sincerely

      Rev. O’Sullivan (The Fisherman)

  2. Mr Roys, why so dismissive of Daddy hotdog here?

I would like to know what has upset you so?

I only see this as a beautiful insight into ones love for the meaty treat, with exquisitely crafted words and equally powerful imagery.

    Matt Hayes

  3. ‘Morally reprehensible?’ Whack some more dijon on that dog Roysykins and get those appalling acrylic slacks into the pre-wash. You’re not Count Arthur Strong are you?
